Our Economy Matters
Our Economy Matters
Businesses remain the vehicle upon which human needs are responded to and provided for. So, our existential needs for food, clothes, shelter, social recognition, faith, and self-actualization are catered for because someone makes a platform available for these to be dispensed to us one way or the other. This platform is exposed to the vagaries of our immediate economic climate.
There are soft issues like access to capital, friendly tax policies, infrastructure, incentives, purchasing power, market regulations, GDP growth and the likes which appear so intangible but are the very foundation upon which businesses in any country can thrive. The whole obligation of government is to ensure that any of these input variables are helpful enough for people to be encouraged into engaging in entrepreneurial activities that have potential to bring rewards to them. This is the reason why we must continue to engage and discuss the direction our nation’s economy with the view to providing an objective sound board for the responsible authorities to perform efficiently.
Through various platforms from the groups I identify with, I shall continue to lend a voice to those agenda I am convinced will help my country Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world. The goal is one and the same- a thriving economy will deliver quality life to the people through whatever they find to do.
